The economic consequences of COVID-19, compounded by all the effects of the Russian Federation’s unprovoked aggression against Ukraine, have created a difficult environment for public investment policies such as cohesion policy, and many Member States have asked the Commission to provide further guidance on how to manage cost increases in their day-to-day project management.
Therefore, a webinar on “Project management in cohesion policy in the context of public procurement rules and cost increases” will take place on July 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., in virtual mode. The webinar is jointly organized by DG Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs and DG Regional and Urban Policy.
The webinar will cover various aspects related to the implementation and modification of projects and public procurement, and provide clarifications on the practical application of Article 72 of the Public Procurement Directive in the current situation.
Registration Information : Registration is coordinated internally by MS. No registration is required to watch the webstream. The webcast link will follow.
