JetBrains adds advanced project management to YouTrack

JetBrains recently announced version 2022.1 of YouTrack, its project management and knowledge base tool. With this, the team introduced interactive Gantt charts, allowing users to plan entire projects by dragging and dropping tasks onto a timeline to schedule them and stretch them to set estimates.

Once dependencies between tasks are established, the user can make changes and then update the start dates of tasks that are affected later in the timeline with a single click.

Akamai acquires Linode

Akamai Technologiesa solution used to power and protect digital experiences, recently announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire infrastructure-as-a-service platform provider Linode.

Under terms of the agreement, Akamai will acquire all of the outstanding shares of Linode Liability Company for approximately $900 million, after customary purchase price adjustments.
