Sikich, a global company specializing in technology-enabled professional services, has hired business development expert Jenny Massey to lead the new Economic development consulting firm. Massey and his team will work closely with clients to minimize risk and maximize returns from their relocation and expansion projects.
“Our priority is to help our clients grow their businesses, and business development consulting is essential to effectively and strategically scale a business,” said Ray Lampner, partner responsible for CPA consulting services at Sikich. “Jenny’s experience and knowledge will be invaluable to clients as they seek to grow their workforce, expand their presence and make capital investments.”
With nearly 15 years of experience in economic development consulting, Massey works closely with companies across many industries – including technology, aerospace, logistics, life sciences, professional services, advanced manufacturing and agri-bioscience – on site selection, incentive sourcing and compliance. It helps businesses capitalize on applicable local and state tax credits, training grants, and site-specific incentives.
Prior to joining Sikich, Massey co-founded FairWinds Advisors, a national consulting firm specializing in site selection and incentive sourcing. She has helped a wide range of companies – from startups to Fortune 500 organizations – improve business development, strategic business planning, negotiation and compliance efforts. Massey also mentors start-up companies with gBETA, a national startup accelerator generator program that supports start-up companies. She earned degrees at Indiana University and The Wharton School.
“I love seeing how incentives and strategic planning can positively impact businesses of all sizes,” Massey said. “With access to Sikich’s wide range of services, from accounting to technology to consulting offerings, we can help our clients accelerate their growth and mitigate the inevitable pain of growing.” I look forward to connecting clients with our team of experts to provide them with innovative solutions that will help them achieve their goals. »
